Fast rising Nigerian singer, Sky D has just released his latest music project, Don’t Cry, which he said is inspired by a mixture of the peaks and valleys of his career journey.
Don’t Cry, which started streaming on different online music platforms on Friday, March 8 is Sky D’s first single of the year.
“I titled the track ‘Don’t Cry’ because for a few years in the game, it was just me. I was the only one who was there for myself. Everything has changed now. We are about to take the game to the next era. I still have to always be there for myself. My major inspiration was my life, the ups and downs and the things I love to do,” he told Saturday Sun.
Born Okwuchukwu Paul Elisha, Sky D who also runs a record label, The Eye Sounds Worldwide gave his brand’s logo a facelift.
Shedding more light, he said: “My label is a reflection of my personality. I call it life because just when the world was blank and I was out of ideas, it became my light and ideas. Recently, we modified our logo. I call this a new era. We now have two eyes symbols on the label logo. Everyone can tell an Owl is a nocturnal bird. So looking closely at the new logo, you would observe that it involves day and night stories.”
