Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, who was also a member of the presidential delegation to the just concluded AFCON finals in Côte d’Ivoire, has congratulated Nigeria’s Super Eagles for their “brilliant performance” at the tournament.

“Nigerians are proud of their national team and players despite not winning the coveted trophy,” Radda said in a statement on Monday noting further that, “while falling short of the ultimate prize is undoubtedly disappointing, remember that even the most formidable teams experience setbacks.

“Let this be a source of motivation and fuel your determination to conquer new challenges.

“Now, as your attention shifts to the World Cup qualifying series, I urge you to remain focused and committed.

“The world expects greater things from you and the people of Katsina stand fully behind you.
