North-Central Zone of the Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) has congratulated Pastor Simon Dolly, the former National President of Youth Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) over his recent appointment into the Board of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC).

NCC General Secretary, Dr. Evans Onyemara, in a statement, expressed confidence in the capacity of the appointee to contribute to the collective growth and development of NCPC and the entire Christian faith leveraging his wealth of experience.

He wished the appointee well, and urged him to represent the church well especially the North-Central Zone in the new role that God has placed him.

He referred him to a Scriptural Verse, Luke 12:48, which stated that “to whom much is given, much is expected”, and encouraged him to put in his best to justify the confidence and trust in him.

The CCN General Secretary, however, informed him that the resignation of his post in CCN has been accepted by the President of CCN, Most Rev. David O. C. Onuoha, and wished him well in future responsibilities.
