Vital Links International Academy has celebrated her silver jubilee and awarded 25 students scholarships for the new academic session.
This took place at Vital Link International Academy, Agosi Estate, Ifo, Ogun State.
Speaking at the event, the school’s Administrator and wife of the Proprietor, Dorcas Uwoghien, said that the scholarships were given to empower the less privileged and exceptional students with quality education as instruments of change and development.
She averred that over 250 full- scholarships and 300 half-scholarships have been given to deserving students from Basic 1-5 and the Secondary school.
“We believe that every youth deserves an education tailored to their capabilities and social needs. Our education fosters values and thinking processes that empowers students for intelligent adaptability in a dynamic society”, she said.
She however request for help from members of the public to assist the school in sponsoring more indigent students.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of scholarships to exceptional students of the academy.
Also, awards were given to numerous staff and students ranging from Man of the People(Reverend Segun Saheed), The Oldest Staff( Stella Fawehinmi),
Very BrilliantMost Punctual Teacher(Kehinde Ogundipe, Most Brilliant Student Student(Babalola Eniife), The Neatest Student(Odewole Tobiloba), Most Punctual Student(William Fathia).
The scholarship recipients expressed delight at the school’s gesture and prayed for more power for the school to do more.
