Lagos State Police Command has arrested a man for allegedly killing his girlfriend in a hotel in the state.
Chibuzor Obinna, 22, had lodged with a lady at the Crown Inn Hotel, in Badore area, but the following day, Obinna disappeared without traces from the hotel.
It was gathered that when the hotel staff did not see Chibuzor Obinna after some hours, they forced the door open only to discover the lifeless body of the lady.
22 years old, Obinna had lodged in company with a young lady at Crown Inn Hotel, Badore, but took to his heels after he discovered the lady died in a mysterious circumstance.
According to a staff of the hotel, “the man had lodged in one of the hotel rooms in company with a lady, but we later discovered that the man had fled when he noticed that his companion had passed out. We reported the matter to the police and the police who started investigation while they stepped up manhunt for the suspect”.
A senior police officer said,” after diligent intelligence, which led to the arrest of Obinna ,22, was arrested at at his hideout at Ozunba Nbadiwe Road, Victoria Island .
When contacted, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) said the case was being investigated.
