Gamaliel and Susan Onosode Foundation (GAMSU) will, on December 12, commission the Gamaliel and Susan Onosode International Management Research Centre at the Lagos Business School in Lagos.

A statement signed by Alfred Okoigun, chairman, Planning Committee,

GAMSU Board of Trustees, said the research centre is dedicated to its late founder, Gamaliel Onosode, and his wife, Susan.

He described Onosode as “an icon who lived a life of integrity and passion for excellence,” adding that the centre which has state-of-the-art facilities “will contribute to shaping the future of management in Africa.”

Onosode was a technocrat, administrator and a former presidential candidate of All Nigeria People’s Party of Nigeria.

He was educated at the Government College, Ughelli and the University of Ibadan. He later served as chief executive of NAL Merchant Bank of Nigeria.

Over the years, he rose to become a leading boardroom player in Nigeria’s corporate environment. He was also a former presidential adviser to the late president Shehu Shagari and a former president of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
