President Bola Tinubu has ordered a thorough and full-fledged investigation into the bombing in error of over 80 persons by the Nigerian Army in Kaduna State.
He described the incident as very unfortunate, disturbing, and painful, expressing indignation and grief over the tragic loss of Nigerian lives.
The incident happened in Tundun Biri in Igabi local government area of the state.
According to a statement issued by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the president while calling for calm directed swift and comprehensive medical attention be given to the surviving victims.
He prayed for the repose of the souls of those that died in the unfortunate incident.
