From Priscilla Ediare, Ado-Ekiti

Prophet Sam Olu Alo, the planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide,
has cautioned those in advantaged positions in the country against using their.positions to increase the hardship of the people.

Alo who lamented that the economic situation in the country has been very unpleasant and the citizens have been finding it difficult to survive urged privileged Nigerians to be sensitive to the plights of the masses and come up with actions that will help in reducing their sufferings.

The cleric stated this during the dedication of toilet facilities donated to the Church at Prayer City, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State.

“I have always said it that the problem of Nigeria is not the President but Nigerians themselves.

“For instance, the President only said he would go ahead to implement removal of fuel subsidy and immediately, fuel pump price jumped up, house owners increased their rent and prices of commodities skyrocketed.”

He also lambasted politicians in the country, saying they cannot be absolved from the causes of the sufferings of the masses, who live flamboyant lives as if they are not part of Nigerians, who immediately after they are elected into the office begin to live above those who voted them into power.

The cleric also traced the impediment to the growth of the country to the glaring fact of many countries in one country with each pursuing its own agenda and wanting to lord over others.

He added that the country is not yet sincerely speaking with one voice which is inimical to the growth and progress of the country.

He said clerics can no longer sit on the sidelines and watch or criticise without offering pathways to people in dire need of assistance.

As part of activities for this year’s Global Convention, the man of God announced a week long training for youths on making confectionery, head gear styling, soap making among other skills, alongside a support fund to kick off commercial operations.

Also speaking at the event, Pastor Isaac Olu Eyebiokin of Christ Apostlic Church (CAC) Essien Region, Ogun State and Benin Republic,
advised Nigerians to continue to pray for the leaders of the country so that they can lead well.

He said criticising the government without proffering pragmatic solutions to problems will not move the nation forward.

He described Prophet Alo as a God sent being used in many miraculous ways.
“He is a prayerful son who cares for everyone that comes across his way and God always answers his prayers, we know this through the testimonies being given by the people.”

Pastor Eyebiokin added : “I want to urge all members of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide,
to be prayerful, because the end of the world is imminent but with prayers things are going to change for better”.
