The newly posted Commissioner of Police to Kebbi State,Mr. Samuel Titus Musa has sought for collaborations among the security agencies in the state to curb insecurity.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO)SP Nafiu Abubakar who made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi,said that CP Musa stated this during his visit to the Customs Area Controller, Kebbi Area Command, Comptroller Ben Oramalugo.
According to him,”in his determination to maintain the already existing cordial relationship among the security agencies in Kebbi State, the newly posted Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Samuel Titus Musa, psc and his Management Team had paid a courtesy visit to the Customs Area Controller, Kebbi Area Command, Comptroller Ben Oramalugo, where he solicited his support and cooperation in the fight against crimes and criminality, as well as ensuring the safety and security of the peace loving people of Kebbi State, as Police alone, cannot do it.
“In his response, the Customs Area Controller welcomed the newly posted CP in his Office and applauded his magnanimity for extending his hands of friendship to him. He equally briefed the CP of the efforts of the Customs Area Command are making in generating revenue to the Federal Government.
“In a related development, the General Manager, NTA, Birnin Kebbi, Alhaji Lawal ABUBAKAR Matazu, the Commander, VGN, Kebbi State, Alh. Lawal Mohd Augie and the Ag. Chairman, Caretaker Committee, PCRC, Kebbi State chapter have also paid a courtesy visit to the newly posted Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Samuel Titus Musa, psc in his Office at the Police Headquarters, Birnin Kebbi.
“In their separate opening remarks, the august visitors briefed the CP that, they decided to visit him in order to welcome him to Kebbi State, the LAND OF EQUITY and to commend the good work of the Officers of the Command in securing the lives and property of the people of the state.
“They also reiterated that, they were in CP’s Office with a view to reinvigorate the existing working relationship between the Police Command and their organizations.
“In his response, CP Samuel Titus Musa, psc welcomed and appreciated them for finding time to visit him within a short period of time despite their tight schedules. He promised to improve on the said existing synergy and also assured them that, his doors will always be opened to them for fruitful discussions and meaningful development in the State”.
