An average Yoruba person understands the meaning of the word “Àrinfesesi ( A Day of Misfortune).

In as much as the literal meaning is not far fetched and is used in negative context, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, there are so many “Àinfesesi“ we may have all experienced at some point in our lives.

The film was shot in Ibadan in a rural community, Ijaiye in Oyo State. The movie is in English but has a Yoruba setting and was shot within two months in 2022.

The movie features actors like Bolaji Ogunmola , Shawn Faqua, Akin Lewis, Oyindamola Sanni, Jaye Kuti, Akinnayajo Babatunde among others.

This masterpiece is produced by Aurum Productions and Unique Motion Media Konsult, and they were also the producers of “Midnight” the cinema blockbuster in 2019, acquired by Africa Magic and Netflix.
