Rising cruiserweight boxer, Steven “Freeman” Kadima, has boasted that Godwin Ambrose will be knocked out when they face each other in a national challenge duel at the GOtv Boxing Night 28.
The boxing showpiece, scheduled to hold at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, on 1 May, will also feature six other national and international bouts across different weight categories.
In a telephone interview from his training base in Lagos, Kadima vowed that Ambrose will fall flat. “I am ready for Ambrose. I’m a hard puncher with no mercy. Ambrose will fall ‘yakata’,” Kadima said.
It will be recalled that the hard-punching Kadima won the Mojisola Ogunsanya Memorial Trophy for the best boxer at GOtv Boxing Night 25.
The big fight of the night will be between the World Boxing Federation (WBF) Intercontinental featherweight champion, Taiwo “Esepor” Agbaje, and Tanzania’s Twalib Tuwa.
Also billed for the night is a lightweight challenge fight between Emmanuel Abimbola and Prince Lion Nwoye, while Dimeji Salami and Samuel Elegbede will slug it out in a six-round national super middleweight challenge.
