Nigerian music and movie stars, including friends, fans and well wishers have commiserated with fuji star, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma over the death of his mother, Alhaja Adijat Kuburat.
Alhaja Kuburat died on Thursday April 6, 2023 and was buried the following day, Friday, April 7 according to Islamic rites.
Leading the pack of entertainers that besieged Pasuma’s Omole, Lagos home, especially during the 8th day Fidaus prayer, was fuji icon, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal aka K1 De Ultimate, who was scheduled to travel to London last Friday but postponed it in honour of the deceased.
K1, in company of the president of Fuji Musicians Association of Nigeria (FUMAN), Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Sensation, was also spotted at Pasuma’s home throughout the three-day prayer.
While consoling Pasuma, K1 prayed Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Alijana Fidaus. He, however, promised to honour him (Pasuma) with his presence at the prayer session taking place today (Friday) inside the Lagos State Television Pavilion, Lateef Jakande Road, Ikeja, Lagos.
Others who graced the funeral included Alhaji Sule Adio Atawewe, Olaiya Igwe, Alhaji Taiwo Soji Taiwo aka Ose Omo Banke, Mercy Aigbe and hubby, Adrkaz; MC Oluomo, Kokozaria, Alhaji Adeyinka Ishola aka Askari, chairman, Lagos FUMAN, Dharmendra, Sodikoko, Alhaji Taiwo Hassan Ogogo, Esther Igbekele, and Pastor Dele Ogundipe.
Artistes like Salawa Abeni, Sir Shina Akanni, Saidi Osupa who were out of the country have also sent their condolences to Pasuma via phone calls.
