An early morning fire which gutted shops has destroyed goods worth millions of Naira in Onitsha Main Market.
The mysterious fire whose cause was yet to be ascertained reportedly started around 3am and lasted for over four hours before it could be put off.
The major building affected close to the market secretariat known as White House , serves as big warehouses for traders dealing on fabrics.
