The Youth Wing of Ohaneze ndigbo Worldwide has endorsed PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, his running mate, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as well as the Delta North PDP senatorial candidate, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko as their preferred candidates for the February 25th 2023 General Elections.
This was part of the resolutions in a Town Hall meeting yesterday at Asaba, where the Ohaneze National Youth leader, Mazi Barr.Obasi Onu and National Secretary, Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu led the executives and members of the body to declare that Okowa is an illustrious son of Igbo land and a lover of the Youths, having created many empowerment programmes for them.
They noted that the body has resolved to back and vote the PDP candidates for a better and more Peaceful Nigeria.
They pledged to mobilize their members across the Igbo speaking states of Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi, Abia, Enugu as well as neighboring Rivers and Delta State.
The Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth worldwide further stated that they would support the Delta State PDP Governorship candidate, Rt Hon, Sheriff Oborevwori and the PDP candidate for Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency, Hon Ndidi Elumelu at the polls.
They Particularly commended, Delta North PDP Senatorial candidate, Hon Prince Ned Nwoko for his immense contributions to the development of Anioma, Delta state and Nigeria in general, expressing confidence in his capacity to give effective representation as senator.
“We members of Ohaneze ndigbo Worldwide – Youth wing are voting Atiku/Okowa Presidency, Hon Ned Nwoko for Senate, Sheriff Oborevwori for Governor and Hon Ndidi Elumelu for House of Representatives.
“The PDP agenda to rescue Nigeria from bad leadership is good for Ndigbo. We believe in Atiku’s agenda to empower millions of Igbo Youths to grow their businesses. We know he would actualize this working with our good Igbo son, Okowa. With Ned as Senator, Atiku/Okowa Presidency will succeed because we know him for his track record of service and Integrity.
“We urge all Igbo sons and daughters to come out on Saturday 25th February to cast their votes for the PDP candidates”. The Igbo Youths Noted
