As part of activities to commemorate his 75th birthday celebration, Professor Matthew M. Umukoro would deliver an academic lecture today in the Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan, starting from 3pm under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Kayode Adebowale. The lecture is entitled: “In defence of criticism.”
Professor, who retired from the University of Ibadan in May 2020 clocks 75 years on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Before his retirement, Professor Umukoro taught at the Department of Theatre Arts, University of Ibadan, for upwards of 40 years.
