The senator representing Sokoto south senatorial district in the House of Assembly, Aminu Warizi Tambuwal, has flagged off a food aid distribution to 30,000 households in the state.
Tambuwal stated this in his Kontagora resident of Sokoto state. He said that the support reflects the party’s commitment to unity, compassion and helping those in need during the holy month of Ramadan.
He said the distribution process this year is organized in such a way that it will cover a larger number of people.
In his speech, Tambuwal commended the efforts of PDP lawmakers in the state for the good representation of their constituencies in the state house.
The former governor said their initiative for coming up with an avenue that involves the teeming youth to benefit directly from the distribution is commendable.
“Let me single out the younger ones that have come up with an initiative that has never taken place before where the teeming members of our youth are going to benefit from the major support.”
He praised the PDP leaders in Sokoto for their dedication to strengthening the party and mobilizing support, reassuring their supporters that the party remains strong and determined to reclaim its mandate after the last elections.
“By Allah’s grace, through strategic efforts and unwavering commitment, justice shall be restored,” he said.
