Jack Idopise, an up and coming musician,  popularly called , “Mr Jack”, has appealed to youths to remain focused on things that would add value to t hem in 2024.

The afro-pop musician told  the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Thursday in Lagos, following his just concluded album listening party which unleashed his latest studio album tagged ‘On God’.

According to him, as we’re about to step into the year 2024, my advice to the youths is to remain steadfast and not distracted by unprofitable vices.

“The youths should be focused, directed especially on the most important things that’ll probably add value to their lives and even to their own society.

“We should change our mentality of relying on government, instead
we should venture into businesses that can create more job opportunities, learn hand work, be creative to make impact.

“Find solutions to problems facing us today and then most importantly, we should deviate from looking for easy way of making money,” he said.

Jack, who is also involved in pastry Chef business, noted that nothing good comes easy adding that only positive hard work paid and offered peace of mind.

“It is very important for youths to play down on peer pressure that could destroy their future. Success doesn’t happen overnight.

“We should learn to be ourselves, don’t aspire to be who you cannot be because we all have different destinies, youths should strive to be contented.

” This singular act brings forth criminal minds into play, gives room for involvement in dirty deals and get rich fast syndrome, but being contented can solve the problem,” he told NAN.

Jack also added that music artists should be encouraged by both the government and private bodies because it serves as a vital means of passing information to the people.

”Music is a strong tool that can effectively educate, improve interaction and correct negative traits in the society for a better tomorrow.

“It would excel better in the country if we get adequate support or sponsorships from the relevant authorities,” he said.

NAN reports that Jack, based in Lagos, who had recorded over 10 albums to his credit, had fashion designers, realtors, top celebrity stylist and personalities  within Nigeria, South Africa And  United States in his album show. (NAN)
