As 2023 general elections gather momentum, General Overseer of Royal Choice Ministries International, Success Ibeakanma, has urged Christians to hold unto God in all circumstances no matter what they are passing through.
He gave this admonition during the 17th anniversary of the church which was held recently at its Ketu Headquarters, Lagos.
In his sermon titled ‘Giving’, Ibeakanma urged Christians, and non-Christians to embrace the habit of giving, saying “giving is the manifestation of God in practical form.
He said: “You can never say you love God and do not give. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. Giving, therefore, should be an inherent part of a Christian life that must not be ascribed to some people while others watch and miss out from the blessing of God. One can give time, advice, finance, support and whatever that comes through someone’s way and that is the secret of greatness.
“Through his grace, the ministry has given out scholarship, start-up funds and vehicles to assist people and we have received the blessings as well.”
He, therefore, encouraged everyone to do whatever little they could in giving instead of being an all-time receiver.
“It has been a wonderful journey, for his grace is sufficient for all. His Grace has helped the journey these years and that is the reason we soared and pulled through even during our challenging years.
“God showed up through his grace and mercies. It is not my making, but the grace of God. He has been awesome 17 years of our existence as a body of Christ. Testimonies abound, faithfulness, healing and all-round blessing took place. Therefore, we give him all the glory,” he added.
