A 16-year-old pupil of Isaac Newton School, Matogun, Oke-Aro, Lagos, Azoyenime Samuel Chukwuemeka, has made history in the just-released 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with a score of 372.
In the UTME, he scored Physics 98, Chemistry 98, Mathematics 98 and English 78. He intends to study Computer Science at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ife.
His outstanding result has sent the school into a celebratory mood. The Proprietor, Tanimowo Eniola, confirmed Azoyenime’s UTME result.
He was cautious about celebrating his result and urged our Correspondent to wait for the official statement from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Tanimowo also disclosed that Azoyenime is currently sitting for the May/June 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Another whizkid from Ota Total Academy, Ota, Ogun State, Abiodun Muhammed scored 361 in the 2025 UTME and his currently writing the school exam.
In the 2025 UTME, Muhammed recorded Mathematics 97, English 68, Physics 98 and Chemistry 98.
