Delta State to host Biggest Food Festival this December

The Delta Food and Drink Festival is poised to be Delta State’s biggest food event to showcase its rich culinary culture, tradition, and diversity through the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori M.O.R.E Agenda in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism championed by Honorable Chiazor Daniel Special Assistant to Governor on Youth and Talent Development and Honorable Ambassador Prayer Pemu Special Assistant to Governor On Entertainment.

Scheduled to take place on Saturday, 14th – Sunday, 15th of December, at Saint Patrick’s College Asaba, this annual festival is a celebration of the unique flavours and vibrant culture of Delta State.
Beyond just food, the event aims to bring people together to experience the heart and soul of the region.

At the heart of the festival is an array of diverse dishes. From traditional meals crafted by local chefs to innovative new recipes, there is something to satisfy every palate. Visitors will be able to explore a wide range of local delicacies, each showcasing the

This event is hosted by Delta’s finest comedine Realwarripikin, Mc Shakara with guest appearances from your celebrity food critic like Opeyemi Famakin and Waka Waka Nnenna. Also, a theatre play that brings the traditions of Delta State to life. Local artisans will also be present, offering beautifully crafted products that exemplify the creativity and skill of the community.
