Movie practitioners meet in Enugu, reveal plan to go digital

The National President of the Association of Movie Practitioners (AMPRAC), Ifeanyi Azodo, has announced the preparedness of movie producers under the association to fully go digital by 2030.

Azodo made the revelation during the National Expanded Executive Meeting of the association held in Enugu recently.

He noted that the unveiling for the AMPRAC vision 2030 would be held in Edo State later in June.

Speaking about the vision, the Chairman of AMPRAC, Enugu State chapter, Tochukwu Ukaegbu, assured that all the chapters of the association were ready to embrace the digital switch as championed by Azodo.

He expressed optimism that the new approach, when fully in place, would help to boost movie production, and the quality of movies produced in Enugu State and nationwide.

During the event, Ukaegbu was nominated as Chairman of Chairmen of the association, while his Edo State counterpart, Enakhume Oshokha, was nominated as the Secretary.

Other notable members of the association present at the meeting included Chimdi Chiama, Vice President, Odom Osondu, National Secretary, Ezechukwu Dennis and Osinachi Titus.
