The Lagos State Police Command has a new Commissioner of Police.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Benjamin Hundeyin, who made the disclosure yesterday, gave the name of the new commissioner of police as Fayoade Adegoke Mustapha.
Mustapha replaces Idowu Owohunwa, who was recently promoted to the rank of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police.
According to him, the new appointment was conveyed in a wireless message dated December 11, 2023, marked TH.5361/FS/FHQ/ABJ/T.5/103 and signed by the Nigeria Police Force Secretary, on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
