Crystal Palace joins race for Onyedika
Crystal Palace is eyeing a move for Super Eagles midfielder, Raphael Onyedika who has lately been in a rich vein of goalscoring form for Club Brugge, according to The Sun.
As published in the report, Crystal Palace sporting director, Dougie Freedman watched the Nigeria international in action for Club Brugge last weekend ahead of a potential move for him in the summer.
The 23-year-old would cost the Premier League outfit close to £20m, which is as a result of him having three years left on his current contract.
Besides Oliver Glasner’s side, Onyedika has also reportedly caught the interest of Turkish Super Lig club, Galatasaray as well as Spanish giants Barcelona.
Club Brugge is also ready to part ways with the midfielder who has been on the team’s books since 2022 and has signed a replacement for him in Switzerland international Ardon Jashari.
Since joining the Bruges-based club, Onyedika has established as a key player, making 82 appearances across all competitions.
In the current season, he has helped them to the semifinal of the UEFA Europa Conference League and leading the charge to relinquish the league title from defending champions, Royal Antwerp.
